The Hideout

About This Project

The Hideout

This single-family home was built in 1990 it is located on a beautiful corner lot
in a private culd-e-sac. The house has 180-degree views of Park City Mountain
Resort, Deer Valley and The Uinta’s. The homeowners not only made some
changes to the esthetics of the house but it was time to make it more energy
efficient and function better for their needs. We remolded and updated the
whole house including two new furnaces, windows, roof, bathrooms and
kitchen. In today’s market people view the kitchen as a center of the home,
rather than a place to cook meals. This open space will be used for entertaining
guest for many years to come.

Remodeling older homes can mean restoring a building to its original luster
or altering floor plans to accommodate modern lifestyles and taste. Our
clients will save energy by installing a Lutron package, led lights, new
windows and a much-needed roof. Utilizing this shading system provided
precision control of daylight with a touch of a button. You can cool down
your house by lowering the shades and blocking solar heat gain in the
summer and in the winter months you can take advantage of the warm
sunlight entering the house.

The master bathroom is supposed to be your own private escape. Our clients
nailed this one with a place to pamper yourself. The old layout was outdated
and was not functional. This transformation to the master bathroom offers a
more luxurious master suite. The downstairs was transformed into an office
and entertainment room with a cozy sitting area with a fire place. It will
most likely be a place the kids choose to hang out. The Hideout will be a
great space for many years to come and the improvements will
accommodate everyone’s needs.
