PJ Builders was contracted to renovate this old historic Park City mining shack as it was way too small for the family’s needs. They wanted more room so PJ Builders transformed this house by adding a three-story addition on to the back of the existing structure, renovating the front portion of the home and excavating a new basement. All of the electrical and plumbing was updated as well. The downstairs was turned into an entertainment room and wine cellar. The other two floors gave us the opportunity to build a much-needed laundry room, bathroom and two guest rooms that opened to a private hot tub patio area outside. Keeping the look and charm of a little mining shack was important to the homeowners and the addition helped achieve that while creating extra space inside for entertaining friends and family.
